ARTISTS STATEMENT
Kristin has an M.F.A. from the Visual Studies Workshop in Rochester, NY and a B.A. in Studio Art from Florida State University.
She is an Associate Professor of Art + Design at Palm Beach State College and her work has been exhibited nationally. Recent exhibitions include being selected as the inaugural artist for Whitespace Editions, Whitespace Collection, West Palm Beach; Palm Beach Cultural Council and Art Palm Beach (2013 and 2012).
Her fine artwork creates habitats, investigates spaces of the home and uses natural materials to question traditional roles through the use of photography, bookmaking, and installation. |
