ARTISTS STATEMENT
I document my body making silly, spontaneous, and surprising poses and actions using photographs and videos. Site-specific pieces look at what my body physically can do within a space, how to make a unique connection to the place that transcends normal dynamics. I follow psychogeographic rules: Explore the space without following the routes designed for normal human movement. Subvert a-to-b rules of locomotion and go out with no notions, no end-points, and no goals.
I am an interdisciplinary artist currently working in photo, video and drawing. |
